dear santa...

i know, i know... it's still a bit early, but i am already thinking about christmas gifts for my loved ones... 
7 weeks are still left, but time really flies... 
and whilst thinking about presents for friends and family i came up with my personal whish list for christmas!
i hope that i will find one or two of them under the christmas tree... :-)

back in the mud

... well... not that bad, i have to admit... the wheather is still quite good for end of november... but anyway... nothing compared to hawaii!!!
what can i tell you... 3,5 weeks of sunshine, perfect beaches, palm trees and all kinds of beautiful jungle plants, surfing, stand up paddling, zip lining, comfort food, etc...
i really miss this!! 
especially the hang loose attitude that was so well present, so enjoyable and oh so contagious!

ago e rita

last Friday in italy we were partying up!

first we went to ago e rita!

i can only recommend this location to you when you are around! it is so great and actually very low key!

it is a very special concept that is absolutely brilliant:

no menu to choose from and dancing on the tables!

when you arrive (and you have to reserve a table!) you have already some wine, water and veggie sticks on the table!

after the healthy snack they serve you 2 different pastas and one risotto. If it is not enough you can always ask for a refill – but there is another course to come!

super delicious razor thin cut prosciutto and salami is provided on the tables.

coming with freshly baked bread and some spreads including – as we are in italy – nutella as kind of representing the desert.

of course the wine is also on refill ;-)

after you have eaten they serve some sorbet, espresso and yummy limoncello.

then the dancing starts!

they clear the table and you can feel free to dance on the benches, the tables or just on the floor!

it was soooo much fun! the wine, the food and the dancing!

earlier this year i had my bachelor party at the ago e rita and it was spectacular!

on our way home we stopped at the primo life club.

nice location with a very nice roof top - but the do not play my kind of music...

last weekend...

i spent in lazise at the wonderful lago di garda – me and 14 girls made a trip for an extended weekend!

it was just great! the weather is still hot and the food was great – as always in italy!!

at the residence la margherita we had 2 apartments and a great pool where I spent the whole saturday relaxing in the sun, doing nothing than reading and sunbathing!

i did not even feel the urge of shopping… 

i just enjoyed the warm sun and the laziness :-)

how to pack

packing for holidays is always a challenge! 
for a few years now i try to do it reasonably and to avoid bringing to many accessories... (i once topped it with  bringing 7!! clutches for only 1 week holiday...)
now i go with the basics mostly in black and white and then i try to stay with only ONE color, so all my accessories can match.

back home

after 7 days in turkey we are finally back in the cold... 
last week was just perfect - we enjoyed the sun, the ocean, good food... 
also the hotel was fantastic! i can only recommend this hotel!

we're off

escaping the fast approaching winter for a few days!
enjoying the sun (hopefully), good food and relaxed hours in turkey!
we are very curious about the hotel, as it just opened this summer... but it looks fantastic...
