how to pack

packing for holidays is always a challenge! 
for a few years now i try to do it reasonably and to avoid bringing to many accessories... (i once topped it with  bringing 7!! clutches for only 1 week holiday...)
now i go with the basics mostly in black and white and then i try to stay with only ONE color, so all my accessories can match.

back home

after 7 days in turkey we are finally back in the cold... 
last week was just perfect - we enjoyed the sun, the ocean, good food... 
also the hotel was fantastic! i can only recommend this hotel!

we're off

escaping the fast approaching winter for a few days!
enjoying the sun (hopefully), good food and relaxed hours in turkey!
we are very curious about the hotel, as it just opened this summer... but it looks fantastic...

travel kit

as already mentioned i have a few make-up kits...
one of them is the 'pimpress travel kit' from benefit cosmetics.
i bought it back in may at the manchester airport when we had to wait seveal hours for our connection flight.
and to kill the time, i did a little duty free shopping... :-)

never used it... until now: we are going to turkey this saturday for a little holiday.
and as i plan to limit my luggage especially in the beauty and accessory department (...well... we'll see how this works out at all...) i count on this kit to be my major beauty tool...

currently craving...

with the cold and wet season approching fast i am currently craving for some hunter boots!

when it rains - and it does rain a lot in germany, you can't wear your ugg boots, they only get drenched by the rain...

so i am thinking about these... 'carnaby boa'-style, or just simply black ones...

i confess...

with all make-up palettes that i own... and there are some...i truely do use this one daily!
the 'confessions of a concealaholic' from benefit cosmetics!
it's just perfect! the kit has everything you need for concealing & brightening - and the products in this kit like 'erase paste', 'lemon aid', 'boing' and 'eye bright' really work fantastic!
(though i am not so sure about the 'that gal' primer - but i use it, it smells good :-))
and i have to admit that i am totally into this nicely designed packaging...

that's probably the reason why i have quite number of kits at home that i haven't used yet... ;-)

fake fur jacket

this weekend i wore my H&M <3 lanvin fake fur jacket for the first time!
my bf said i looked a bit like a yeti... but i liked it!
the weather was just perfect for it - sunny and cold. unfortunately i won't have too many occasions to wear it, as winter in germany is mostly freezing cold, snowy and rainy...
